The Art of Extractions

Extractions are one of the most important parts of a facial. A skilled esthetician can remove them safely . Each person’s oil levels and buildup rate are different and require slightly different treatment plans. Mastering the art of extractions is one of the most important skills esthetic professionals can develop. Not only does learning how to properly extract acne lesions without creating damage in the skin set you apart in your practice, it is key to restoring the skin to optimal health.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy is strictly enforced. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to training will result in lost registration fees paid but may be applied toward another class Canceling/rescheduling class results in a 50% credit within 7 days from class date. No shows are NOT refundable.

All courses and schedules are available on a minimum class start. Classes may be cancelled, postponed or rescheduled due to class, faculty or instructor scheduling conflict, as well as in the case of insufficient enrollment. Skin Fitness Therapy reserves the right to make said changes without prior notice.

    • How to incorporate the proper peels and skin nutrition for quick, long lasting results
    • Skin Nutrients for home care to correct and maintain clear skin

It starts with understanding the type of lesion you are working with and the client’s skin, along with a knowledge of the tools, products and techniques that support proper extraction—and which to avoid.
