Many of you know and love Skin Fitness Therapy and are familiar with its core philosophy of treating the skin. BUT for those of you who are just getting to know us, I want to take some time to re-introduce Skin Fitness Therapy and share our approach to treating and caring for the skin.
Our approach to total skin fitness is to work the skin similar to how a personal trainer works the muscles through a precise, carefully crafted fitness regimen. The main objective is to essentially tear the muscle fibers down in order to build new muscles that will be even stronger! Cells have memory. Our bodies are constantly creating new cells every minute of every day. When the cells are growing, they are forming based on memory pathways from the brain and what they remember the cells needing.
For example, let’s take a closer look at pigmentation. When the skin is damaged by overexposure to the sun or heat, the skin responds by creating an abundance of melanin to help protect the skin in that particular spot. Unfortunately, that causes a reaction that is embedded in the cells’ memory and it takes a specific ingredient that contains tyrosinase inhibitor to communicate to those cells that they no longer need to produce melanin in that particular spot . This is a similar process with all the cells in our body.
When we lift weights, the heavier weights are training our muscles to become stronger. On the other hand, if we don’t lift any weights, our muscles do not see the need to be stronger; therefore, they become stagnant or even weaker. When we are training our muscles to become stronger, we need to reach a point of exhaustion, this fatigues the muscle fibers to break down in order for them to rebuild much stronger and healthier. A personal trainer will also work with us to mix up our regimen to keep the muscles guessing! As such, our products transfer this well-known fitness concepts to the skin-care field, utilizing unique skin care formulations to achieve total skin fitness!

Each Boot Camp Routine service has a 25-30 minute duration. You’re busy…and the challenge is built to fit into your schedule.
Your first treatment in the series will begin with a gentle introductory exfoliation, prepping your skin for more intensive treatments as the series continues. This ensures skin health is preserved and that your skin is not over exfoliated/processed.
As you continue in the program the level/intensity of peel will continue to increase at each visit. This positive challenge for your skin trains your facial tissue to function more efficiently allowing for safer and deeper exfoliation without inconvenient downtime. The result is skin that continues to improve over time.
Will my skin peel? The goal is not to create a visible peeling effect in your skin, however, this may occur with any peel service. Most people experience light flaking, dryness and/or a tight feeling on their skin for a few days post treatment.
Proper nutrition in conjunction with a workout program provides maximum results. The same goes for your skin, skipping out on quality skincare and the proper recovery products between services can have a direct impact on the results you will see.
Your home care plan will change and evolve over the course of your challenge. The Post Peel Kit should be a part of your skin care program for a minimum of 3-5 days post peel/treatment to help accelerate the healing response of your skin while minimizing any dryness or irritation.
Our RAPID RECOVERY products are like a protein shake for you skin. Just like after an intensive work out a protein shake replaces lost essential amino acids and protein, our post-care products are designed to feed your skin the nutrients it needs after a corrective facial to heal, be hydrated and minimize any irritation – think of it as optimum skin nutrition to help your skin function at peak performance!

PRE WORKOUT NUTRITION
Pre Procedure Nutrition
Skin Fitness Therapy “Pre-Workout” Kit
Pore Cleanser Normal/Combination—Apply a small amount to the hands, add a few drops of water to activate into a foam and work the product into the skin in circular motion. Rinse off with warm water.
Anti-Radical Toner—Apply a small amount onto the face and neck with cotton ball using upward and outward strokes, after cleansing treatments.
Cranberry Purifying Scrub—twice a week apply after cleansing while skin is still moist. Use circular motions across face and neck for no more than 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
Vitamin A&E Serum—Apply every other day on clean skin in the PM for 2 weeks, then, as skin tolerates, increase to once daily in the PM.
Ultra Moisturizing Cream with EGF—Apply a small amount to face and neck with upward and outward strokes.
